Broker Registration

In order to obtain a Customs Broker/Agent License, the following documents must be submitted along with the Registration Form stated in Annex 27, of The Customs Regulation.

• Original Registration Certificate of the Company (an additional copy required)
• If the Company is in the export/import business, a letter must be submitted to cancel the C Number allocated to the company.
• A written document stating that no member of the company (including staff and Directors alike) will conduct import/export business transactions in their own names.
• A valid National Identity Card of the applicant (additional copy required)
• Foreign individuals must present a valid work permit (additional copy required)

Application Form for Customs Broker/Agent’s License can be downloaded from the downloads section of the website.

Applicants are required to download the form and submit it along with the required documents to the Administration Section located on the 3rd floor of the Customs Head Office.

Under special circumstances, an application may be accepted with only copies of National ID and Work permit. However, the license will only be released upon the submission of their originals.

Customs Broker/Agent registration will be completed within 7 working days from the date of application.
