Mr. Abdulla Waheed appointed as the Deputy Commissioner

On December 26, 2023, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu appointed Mr. Abdulla Waheed as the Deputy Commissioner of Customs. Commissioner General of Customs Yoosuf Maaniu Mohamed presented him with the rank insignia on 3^rd January 2024, during a ceremony held at the Customs Building.

With over 32 years of dedicated service at the Maldives Customs Service, formerly Chief Superintendent, brings a wealth of experience to this role. In his new role, he joins Deputy Commissioner Mahmood Riyaz.
