Shipments Imported with Diplomatic Immunity

 

Under law governing export and import (31/79), duty will be exempted, in accordance with the international treaties approved by the Maldives, for items imported to and export from the Maldives by parties who have been granted diplomatic immunity by the Government of the Maldives.

 

The following documents must be submitted to process goods with diplomatic immunity.

 

-          Letter from Ministry of Foreign Affairs

-          Letter from the Diplomatic Mission

 -          Documents required to process import/export declaration
