Duty Free Shops

In order to register a Duty Free Shop, the following documents must be submitted along with the Registration Form stated in Annex 31, of The Customs Regulation.

• Company Registration if Duty Free Shop is to be registered under a company (additional copy required)
• License issues by Ministry of Economic Development to establish a Duty Free Shop
• A valid National Identity Card of the applicant (additional copy required)
• Foreign individuals must present a valid work permit  (additional copy required)

Application Form for Duty Free Shop registration can be downloaded from the downloads section of the website.

Applicants are required to download the form and submit it along with the required documents to the Administration Section located on the 3rd floor of the Customs Head Office.

Under special circumstances, an application may be accepted with only copies of National ID and Work permit. However, the license will only be released upon the submission of their originals.

Duty Free Shop registration will be completed within 7 working days from the date of application.
