Shipping Agents

 

 

The companies registered as the shipping agents in the Customs should fulfil the following requirements

 

The company must be registered under Maldives

The company must be registered at the Maldives Transport Authority.

Have established resources to function as shipping agents

Permission to operate as shipping agents for the crafts arriving by air is given only to the parties approved by the related government authority to do the ground operations of the port.

 

 

The following documents should be submitted to Customs by the parties applying for the license of the Shipping Agents.

 

Application form for license of Shipping Agents

Original and a copy of the registration certificate of the Company.

Document of registration at the Maldives Transport Authority.

 

 

*Note: Original documents will be immediately returned after verification.
